ICED
TEA COLLECTION
Iced tea recipes date back to the early 1800s, but widespread popularity
and commercialization are believed to have begun 100 years ago at the
1904 St. Louis Worlds Fair.
In honor of "Iced Tea Month", declared by the Tea
Council of the U.S.A., Tribute Tea is introducing a line of premium
iced teas:
Cherry
| Fruit Punch
Apple
| Blackberry
Lemon | Mango
Orange | Peach
Raspberry

PREPARATION:
We recommend
using one teaspoon of tea leaves per cup of just-boiling water. Infuse
for five minutes and strain. Allow to cool (about an hour) and serve over
ice. Sweeten with honey or raw cane sugar. Garnish with fresh mint and
sliced lemon, lime or orange. For an exotic touch, use frozen strawberries
instead of ice cubes. Since sugar doesn't dissolve well in cold tea, you
may want to try a syrup made from equal parts sugar and water brought
to a boil over medium heat and allowed to cool.
Alternatively, add apple or orange juice for a sweet tea/juice blend.
