Tribute
Chai
There
are a lot of chai products out there these days, so when we set out
to make our own we knew we had to come up with something special. We've
blended nine spices (shown here), including cinnamon, ginger & cardamom,
and packaged them separately from the tea so you can simmer them on
their own to extract the most flavor. Serve with hot milk and honey
and you have an irresistible, aromatic treat.

PREPARATION:
Tribute Chai is best prepared according to the following method:
simmer 2-3 tsp. of spice per cup (8oz) of water 10-15 min. Remove from
heat and add 1-2 tsp. of tea to the pot and steep 5-10 min. (Add ½
tsp. vanilla extract if desired.) While the tea and spices are steeping,
warm 1 cup soy (or other) milk in a separate pot. Strain the chai into
the milk, sweeten with honey (or sweetner of your choice) to taste and
serve.
