Golden Melon
Tribute
Throughout its long history Puerh has been reserved by the Chinese imperial
court as a "Tea of Tribute" - as represented by these beautiful
melon-shaped tea "tributes". ("Golden" refers to
the melon's high percentage of prized tea leaf buds.) The perfect gift
for a Puerh lover. Available by the piece, by the set (banana-leaf-bundled,
as shown), or broken up in 1 oz. loose leaf samples.

PREPARATION:
To prepare Puerh tea from hard-pressed cakes, cut or steam off the
desired amount and place in a teapot, teacup or gaiwan.
Rinse by covering with boiling water and quickly pour off. Cover with boiling
water again and let steep 1-5 minutes (depending on how light or dark you
want the tea) and serve. Puerh tea may be resteeped 2-3 times or more.
