Bai
Hao Oolong
In
Portuguese Ilha Formosa means beautiful island.
On older maps Taiwan is often labeled "Formosa", as is the
specialty tea of this island. Known as Bai Hao for its silvery
"white hair" tips and "Oriental Beauty" for its
uniquely sweet aroma and flavor, it is no exaggeration to describe
this oolong as one of the world's best-loved teas. The flavor is robust
yet smooth and full-bodied - lasting through numerous captivating
infusions.

PREPARATION:
Bai Hao Oolong may be prepared in many ways, including regular teapot,
individual gaiwans or gongfu style. We
recommend near-boiling water and an infusion time of 1 to 2 minutes. Bai
Hao Oolong may be resteeped several times by gradually increasing the
infusion time.
