Luo Han Guo
Luo Han Guo is a sweet vine fruit -guo- (of the gourd family)
grown in southern China's Guangxi autonomous region where it has been
used for centuries for its sweet flavor
and medicinal properties. Luo han guo is soothing to the throat, cools
the lungs (in Chinese medicinal terms), and is considered an aid to
longevity.
("Luohan" is one who has attained enlightenment.)

PREPARATION:
To prepare an infusion from Luo Han Guo, you will need to break the fruit
apart. (All of it is sweet and flavorful, so don't throw anything away.)
Use about 2-3 tsp. per cup of boiling water and infuse 3-5 min. (Luo Han
Guo may be reinfused multiple times.)
