Lemon Grass
Originally acquired just for blending, this superior, American grown lemon
grass quickly took on a life of its own once people started getting a
taste of it. You'll still find it in some of our blends, but, due to popular
demand, it's featured here on its own page. The name and flavor of lemon
grass come from its high citral content and sweet lemony flavor that's
irresistable hot or iced.

PREPARATION:
Lemon Grass is best prepared in a teapot or covered steeping cup using
1-2 teaspoons of herb per serving. Before infusion, moisten the leaves
with a few drops of hot water to release the sweet lemon scent. Then fill
the pot with boiling water and allow to steep 2-3 minutes. Lemon Grass
may be resteeped several times by gradually increasing the infusion time.
