White
Chrysanthemum
Along with tea, chrysanthemum is one of China's best-loved traditional
herbal beverages. It's sweet flavor and cooling properties make it a favorite
during hot summer months. Chrysanthemum remains popular throughout the
year for its ability to soothe headache and sore throat, brighten eyes,
and improve vision. In addition to being enjoyed on its own, chrysanthemum
may also be blended with teas such as Phoenix Oolong or Puerh.

PREPARATION:
To prepare an infusion from pressed White Chrysanthemum blossoms, break
up the flowers, if necessary, and place 1 to 2 teaspoons per serving in
a teapot or directly into a cup and cover with just-bubbling water. Allow
to infuse 1-3 minutes and imbibe. Chrysanthemum may be infused multiple
times.
