Egyptian
Chamomile
A member of the aster family, chamomile has daisy-like flowers and is
one of the most popular plants in western herbalism. Usually infused as
a fragrant hot beverage for relaxation, chamomile may also be used in
baths and poultices to sooth and soften the skin. To relieve chest congestion
or a stuffy nose, try boiling some chamomile and inhaling the vapor.

PREPARATION:
Egyptian Chamomile is best prepared in a teapot or covered steeping cup
using 1-2 teaspoons of herb per serving. Before infusion, moisten the
flowers with a few drops of hot water to release their aroma. Then fill
the pot or cup with boiling water and allow to steep 2-3 minutes. Egyptian
Chamomile may be infused multiple times by gradually increasing the steeping
time.
